Instructions for Use

1. Supply Voltage:

   • Ensure the supply voltage (V_CC) is within the range of 2.7V to 5.5V.
   • Connect V_CC to the power supply and GND to ground.

2. Output Voltage:

   • The output voltage (V_OUT) is directly proportional to the temperature.
   • For the LM60CIM3/NOPB, the output voltage is typically 0.77V at 0°C and increases by 19.5mV per degree Celsius.

3. Temperature Range:

   • The device operates over a temperature range from -40°C to 125°C.
   • Ensure that the junction temperature (T_j) does not exceed 125°C to avoid damage.

4. Quiescent Current:

   • The quiescent current (I_Q) is typically 65μA and can go up to 80μA.
   • This low current consumption makes it suitable for battery-powered applications.

5. Thermal Management:

   • The thermal resistance (θ_JA) is 150°C/W for the SOT-23 package.
   • Ensure adequate heat dissipation to keep the junction temperature within safe limits.

6. Output Impedance and Capacitance:

   • The output impedance (Z_OUT) is typically 1.5kΩ.
   • An output capacitance (C_OUT) of 10pF is recommended to stabilize the output.

7. Mounting and Handling:

   • Handle the device with care to avoid static damage.
   • Follow standard surface mount technology (SMT) procedures for mounting the SOT-23 package.

8. Testing and Calibration:

   • Test the device at room temperature to ensure it meets the specified output characteristics.
   • Calibrate if necessary to achieve the desired accuracy.

9. Storage:

   • Store the device in a dry, cool place to prevent moisture damage.
