Instructions for Use:

  1. Mounting:

    • Ensure that the leads are not bent sharply close to the body of the capacitor.
    • Solder the leads quickly to avoid excessive heat which can damage the component.
    • Allow the solder to cool naturally without moving the capacitor.
  2. Polarity:

    • This capacitor is non-polarized. It can be inserted in either direction.
  3. Voltage:

    • Do not exceed the maximum voltage rating of 400 VDC.
    • Continuous operation at or near the maximum voltage should be avoided to ensure long-term reliability.
  4. Temperature:

    • Operate the capacitor within the temperature range of -55°C to +85°C.
    • Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures or rapid temperature changes.
  5. Ripple Current:

    • The maximum ripple current should not exceed 120 mA at 100 kHz with a 20°C temperature rise.
    • Higher ripple currents may reduce the lifespan of the capacitor.
  6. Storage:

    • Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and corrosive environments.
    • If stored for extended periods, recondition the capacitor by applying a low voltage and gradually increasing it to the rated voltage over several minutes.
  7. Inspection:

    • Regularly inspect the capacitor for signs of physical damage, such as cracks or bulges.
    • Test the capacitance and insulation resistance periodically to ensure continued performance.
  8. Disposal:

    • Dispose of the capacitor in accordance with local environmental regulations.
    • Do not incinerate or crush the capacitor.
