Instructions for Use:

1. Power Supply Connection:

   • Connect the input voltage (V_IN) to the VIN pin.
   • Ensure the input voltage is within the specified range of 2.7V to 5.5V.

2. Output Configuration:

   • The output voltage (V_OUT) is fixed at 3.3V. No external resistors are required for this setting.

3. Load Connection:

   • Connect the load to the V_OUT pin. The maximum continuous output current is 1.5A.

4. Quiescent and Shutdown Current:

   • The quiescent current (I_Q) is typically 200μA when no load is connected.
   • To put the device into shutdown mode, pull the SHDN pin low. The shutdown current (I_SD) is typically 1μA.

5. Efficiency:

   • The efficiency (η) is typically 90% at full load (1.5A) with an input voltage of 5V.

6. Dropout Voltage:

   • The dropout voltage (V_DROP) is typically 300mV at full load (1.5A) and an input voltage of 5V.

7. Temperature Considerations:

   • The operating temperature range (T_OP) is from -40°C to 85°C.
   • The storage temperature range (T_STORAGE) is from -65°C to 150°C.

8. Capacitors:

   • Use appropriate input and output capacitors to ensure stability and reduce ripple. Refer to the datasheet for specific capacitor recommendations.

9. PCB Layout:

   • Follow the recommended PCB layout guidelines to minimize noise and improve thermal performance. Keep the input and output capacitors close to the respective pins.

10. Handling:

    • Handle the device with care to avoid damage from electrostatic discharge (ESD). Use proper ESD protection measures during handling and installation.
