Instructions for Use:
Power Supply:
- Connect the +5 V power supply to pin 16 (VCC) and ground to pin 8 (GND).
Reference Voltage:
- Apply the reference voltage to pin 1 (REF IN). The maximum reference voltage is 10 V.
Digital Input:
- Connect the 12-bit parallel data input lines (D0 to D11) to the appropriate control logic or microcontroller.
- D0 is the least significant bit (LSB), and D11 is the most significant bit (MSB).
Control Signals:
- Chip Select (CS): Active low. Connect to the control logic to enable the device.
- Write (WR): Active low. Used to latch the data into the DAC register.
- Data Output Enable (OE): Active low. Used to enable the data output lines (if required).
Output Current:
- The current output is available at pin 15 (IOUT). This can be connected to a load resistor to convert the current to a voltage if needed.
Temperature Considerations:
- Ensure that the operating temperature range is between -40°C and +85°C to maintain performance specifications.
Handling Precautions:
- Handle the device with care to avoid static discharge, which can damage the internal circuits.
- Ensure proper grounding and shielding to minimize noise interference.
Testing:
- After assembly, verify the correct operation by applying known digital codes and measuring the corresponding output current.
Storage:
- Store the device in a dry, cool place to prevent moisture damage.
