Instructions for Use:
Power Supply:
- Connect the VCC pin to a stable 5 V power supply.
- Connect the GND pin to the ground of the power supply.
Signal Output:
- The VOUT pin provides a voltage proportional to the current being measured.
- For a current of 0 A, the output voltage is approximately 2.5 V.
- For positive currents, the output voltage increases above 2.5 V.
- For negative currents, the output voltage decreases below 2.5 V.
Current Sensing:
- The primary conductor carrying the current to be measured should be passed through the center of the sensor.
- Ensure the current does not exceed ±7 A to avoid damage or inaccurate readings.
Temperature Considerations:
- The sensor can operate over a wide temperature range (-40°C to +150°C).
- However, extreme temperatures may affect the accuracy of the measurements.
Mounting:
- Mount the sensor on a PCB or in a suitable enclosure.
- Ensure proper heat dissipation if operating at high temperatures.
Calibration:
- For precise applications, calibrate the sensor using known current values.
- Adjust the sensitivity if necessary to match the expected output voltage.
Electrical Isolation:
- The sensor provides 3000 Vrms isolation between the primary conductor and the sensor circuit.
- This ensures safety and prevents electrical interference.
Storage:
- Store the sensor in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and corrosive environments.
Handling:
- Handle the sensor with care to avoid damaging the pins or the internal components.
- Use appropriate ESD protection when handling the sensor to prevent static damage.
