Instructions for Use

  1. Power Supply Connection:

    • Connect the Vcc pin to the power supply.
    • Ensure the supply voltage is within the operating range of 4.5V to 24V.
  2. Ground Connection:

    • Connect the GND pin to the ground of the circuit.
  3. Output Connection:

    • The output pin (OUT) is an open collector. Connect it to a pull-up resistor to the supply voltage.
    • The pull-up resistor value should be chosen based on the load requirements, typically between 1kΩ and 10kΩ.
  4. Magnetic Field Application:

    • Apply a magnetic field perpendicular to the sensor surface.
    • The sensor will switch its output state when the magnetic field strength exceeds the sensitivity threshold (Bop) and return to the original state when the field drops below the release point (Brp).
  5. Temperature Considerations:

    • Ensure the operating temperature remains within the specified range (-40°C to 85°C).
    • Avoid exposing the sensor to temperatures above 150°C during storage.
  6. Handling and Storage:

    • Handle the sensor with care to avoid mechanical damage.
    • Store the sensor in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  7. Testing:

    • Before integrating the sensor into a final design, test it under various conditions to ensure reliable operation.
    • Verify the output behavior using a known magnetic field source and a multimeter or oscilloscope.
