Instructions for Use:
Power Supply:
- Connect the input voltage (VIN) to a power supply within the range of 2.7V to 5.5V.
- Ensure the power supply is stable and capable of providing the required current.
Output Connection:
- Connect the load to the output terminals (OUT).
- The maximum continuous output current is 3.5A.
Enable/Disable Control:
- To enable the device, apply a voltage greater than 1.2V to the EN pin.
- To disable the device, apply a voltage less than 0.8V to the EN pin.
Thermal Management:
- Monitor the operating temperature to ensure it stays below 85°C.
- If the device temperature exceeds 160°C, the thermal shutdown protection will activate, turning off the device to prevent damage.
Quiescent and Shutdown Current:
- When enabled, the quiescent current is typically 100μA.
- When disabled, the shutdown current is typically 0.1μA.
Storage Conditions:
- Store the device in an environment with temperatures ranging from -65°C to 150°C.
Handling Precautions:
- Handle the device with care to avoid static discharge, which can damage sensitive components.
- Follow proper soldering techniques to ensure reliable connections and avoid thermal stress.
Application Notes:
- For detailed application notes and circuit diagrams, refer to the datasheet provided by the manufacturer.
- Consider using external components such as capacitors and resistors to optimize performance and stability.
