Instructions for Use:

1. Handling:

   • Handle with care to avoid damage to the leads or body.
   • Avoid exposing the diode to excessive mechanical stress.

2. Mounting:

   • Ensure that the leads are not bent too close to the body to prevent mechanical stress.
   • Soldering temperature should not exceed 260°C for more than 10 seconds.
   • Allow the diode to cool naturally after soldering.

3. Storage:

   • Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
   • Keep in original packaging until ready for use to protect from moisture and static discharge.

4. Testing:

   • Use a multimeter to test the diode before installation.
   • Forward voltage drop (Vf) should be around 0.7 V when forward-biased.
   • Zener voltage (Vz) should be within the specified tolerance when reverse-biased.

5. Circuit Design:

   • Ensure that the power supply voltage is appropriate for the zener voltage and power rating.
   • Use a current-limiting resistor to protect the diode from exceeding its maximum reverse current (Izmax).

6. Safety:

   • Do not exceed the maximum ratings specified in the datasheet.
   • Ensure proper grounding and insulation to prevent electrical shock.
