Instructions for Use

  1. Input Connection:

    • Connect the input voltage (VIN) to the VIN pin.
    • Ensure the input voltage is within the specified range (2.7V to 5.5V).
  2. Output Connection:

    • Connect the output load to the VOUT pin.
    • The output voltage is fixed at 3.3V and can supply up to 1.2A.
  3. Ground Connection:

    • Connect the ground (GND) pin to the common ground of the system.
  4. Capacitors:

    • Place a 1μF ceramic capacitor close to the VIN pin for input filtering.
    • Place a 1μF ceramic capacitor close to the VOUT pin for output filtering.
  5. Thermal Management:

    • Ensure adequate heat dissipation if operating at high current or in high ambient temperatures.
    • The device can operate up to 85°C, but performance may degrade at higher temperatures.
  6. Stability:

    • The regulator is stable with ceramic capacitors.
    • Avoid using capacitors with very low ESR as they may cause instability.
  7. Storage:

    • Store the device in a dry environment to prevent moisture damage.
    • The storage temperature range is from -65°C to 150°C.
  8. Handling:

    • Handle the device with care to avoid static damage.
    • Follow standard ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions during handling and assembly.
