Instructions for Use:
Mounting:
- Ensure the BTA25-600B is mounted on a heatsink to maintain the junction temperature within the specified range.
- Use thermal paste between the component and the heatsink for better heat dissipation.
Electrical Connections:
- Connect the Anode (A) and Cathode (K) terminals to the load circuit.
- Apply the gate trigger current (IG) to the Gate (G) terminal to turn the triac on.
- Ensure the gate trigger current is within the specified limits to avoid damage.
Operating Conditions:
- Do not exceed the maximum RMS on-state current (IT(RMS)) or peak on-state current (I(TSM)).
- Ensure the off-state voltage (VDRM/VRRM) does not exceed 600V.
- Keep the junction temperature (TJ) below 125°C to prevent thermal runaway.
Storage and Handling:
- Store the BTA25-600B in a dry environment within the storage temperature range (-40 to 125°C).
- Handle with care to avoid mechanical stress or damage to the leads.
Testing:
