Instructions for Use

1. Preparation:

   • Ensure the switch is suitable for the application by checking the rated voltage, current, and temperature.
   • Prepare the wiring according to the electrical requirements of the system.

2. Installation:

   • Mount the thermostat in a location where it will accurately sense the temperature of the environment or device being controlled.
   • Secure the thermostat using the provided mounting method (screw terminal).
   • Connect the wires to the screw terminals, ensuring a secure and tight connection to prevent arcing or poor contact.

3. Operation:

   • The switch will open (disconnect) when the temperature reaches 60°C.
   • The switch will remain open until the temperature drops below the reset point, which is typically slightly lower than the operating temperature due to hysteresis.
   • Ensure that the system is designed to handle the open circuit condition when the switch activates.

4. Maintenance:

   • Regularly inspect the connections and mounting to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
   • Test the operation of the switch periodically to ensure it is functioning correctly.
   • Replace the switch if it shows signs of wear, damage, or if it fails to operate as expected.

5. Safety Precautions:

   • Do not exceed the rated voltage and current to avoid damage or fire hazards.
   • Ensure proper ventilation around the thermostat to prevent overheating.
   • Follow all local electrical codes and safety standards during installation and use.
   • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling electrical components.
