Instructions for Using A3120V

  1. Supply Voltage:

    • Ensure the supply voltage (VDD) is within the range of 4.5V to 5.5V. Operating outside this range can damage the device.
  2. Temperature Considerations:

    • The operating temperature range is from -40°C to 85°C. Ensure the device is not exposed to temperatures outside this range during operation.
    • The storage temperature range is from -65°C to 150°C. Store the device in an environment that does not exceed these limits.
  3. Output Current:

    • The maximum output current (Iout) is 30mA. Do not exceed this limit to avoid damaging the device.
  4. Quiescent Current:

    • The quiescent current (IQ) is typically 1.5mA but can range from 0.5mA to 3mA. This is the current consumed by the device when it is not active.
  5. Magnetic Sensitivity:

    • The magnetic sensitivity (BOP) is the magnetic field strength at which the device switches on. It ranges from 25mT to 65mT.
    • The release point (BRP) is the magnetic field strength at which the device switches off. It ranges from 10mT to 50mT.
  6. Hysteresis:

    • The hysteresis (BHYS) is the difference between the magnetic sensitivity (BOP) and the release point (BRP). It ranges from 5mT to 25mT, ensuring stable switching behavior.
  7. Installation:

    • Ensure proper orientation of the device with respect to the magnetic field. The magnetic field should be perpendicular to the sensing surface of the device for optimal performance.
  8. Testing:

    • Before integrating the device into your application, test it under the expected operating conditions to ensure it meets the required specifications.
  9. Handling:

    • Handle the device with care to avoid mechanical stress or damage. Use appropriate ESD protection measures to prevent static discharge.
  10. Compliance:

    • Ensure that the device complies with all relevant safety and regulatory standards for your application.
