Instructions for Using A3120V
Supply Voltage:
- Ensure the supply voltage (VDD) is within the range of 4.5V to 5.5V. Operating outside this range can damage the device.
Temperature Considerations:
- The operating temperature range is from -40°C to 85°C. Ensure the device is not exposed to temperatures outside this range during operation.
- The storage temperature range is from -65°C to 150°C. Store the device in an environment that does not exceed these limits.
Output Current:
- The maximum output current (Iout) is 30mA. Do not exceed this limit to avoid damaging the device.
Quiescent Current:
- The quiescent current (IQ) is typically 1.5mA but can range from 0.5mA to 3mA. This is the current consumed by the device when it is not active.
Magnetic Sensitivity:
- The magnetic sensitivity (BOP) is the magnetic field strength at which the device switches on. It ranges from 25mT to 65mT.
- The release point (BRP) is the magnetic field strength at which the device switches off. It ranges from 10mT to 50mT.
Hysteresis:
- The hysteresis (BHYS) is the difference between the magnetic sensitivity (BOP) and the release point (BRP). It ranges from 5mT to 25mT, ensuring stable switching behavior.
Installation:
- Ensure proper orientation of the device with respect to the magnetic field. The magnetic field should be perpendicular to the sensing surface of the device for optimal performance.
Testing:
- Before integrating the device into your application, test it under the expected operating conditions to ensure it meets the required specifications.
Handling:
- Handle the device with care to avoid mechanical stress or damage. Use appropriate ESD protection measures to prevent static discharge.
Compliance:
- Ensure that the device complies with all relevant safety and regulatory standards for your application.
