Instructions:
Handling:
- Handle the capacitor with care to avoid mechanical damage.
- Do not touch the leads or body with bare hands to prevent contamination.
Mounting:
- Ensure the capacitor is mounted with the correct polarity. The positive lead is typically longer and marked on the body.
- Solder the leads quickly to avoid overheating. Use a soldering iron with a maximum temperature of 350°C for no more than 3 seconds per joint.
Storage:
- Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and corrosive materials.
- If stored for extended periods, re-form the capacitor by applying a DC voltage equal to the rated voltage for at least 24 hours before use.
Usage:
- Do not exceed the maximum operating voltage or temperature range.
- Regularly inspect the capacitor for signs of leakage, bulging, or other physical damage.
- Replace any damaged capacitors immediately to avoid circuit failure.
Disposal:
- Dispose of the capacitor in accordance with local environmental regulations.
- Do not incinerate or crush the capacitor.
