Instructions for Use

1. Mounting and Handling:

   • Handle the diode with care to avoid mechanical damage.
   • Ensure proper alignment of the diode during mounting to avoid short circuits.

2. Soldering:

   • Use a soldering iron with a maximum temperature of 350°C.
   • Soldering time should not exceed 5 seconds per connection.
   • Allow the diode to cool down before handling.

3. Electrical Connections:

   • Connect the anode (A) to the positive side of the circuit.
   • Connect the cathode (K) to the negative side of the circuit.
   • Ensure that the reverse voltage does not exceed the maximum rated value (100 V).

4. Thermal Management:

   • Ensure adequate heat sinking if operating near the maximum power dissipation (1 W).
   • Monitor the junction temperature to ensure it stays within the operating range (-65°C to 150°C).

5. Storage:

   • Store the diode in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
   • Avoid exposure to corrosive environments.

6. Testing:

   • Use a multimeter to test the diode for continuity and reverse bias.
   • Ensure the diode is not damaged by testing with excessive voltage or current.

7. Disposal:

   • Dispose of the diode in accordance with local environmental regulations.
   • Recycle if possible.
